The room wasn't cleaned properly (we found a broken beer bottle underneath our 3yo's bed), plus there was at least one mouse living in the room.

I visited with my daughter (7 years old). The staff were lovely and very passionate and informative. I found the talks great but my daughter got bored, for her there was too much talking and not enough activities. The boomerang throwing was fun and we purchased one to practice with at home. There was no dancing. The facility is huge and spacious and has a lot of potential to be the cultural hub of Rockhampton. I think the art gallery could house a lot more Indigenous art, including original works of various sizes catering to tourists who cannot carry much and to the locals who would by a large painting.

We were a bit astonished that the dreamtime centre is closed on Saturdays. So we needed to skip this event on our travel.

The pool was good. We didn't try the food. We won't be staying here again.

This aboriginal cultural center could use a spruce up, but otherwise was very informative. The people could not have been friendlier. I especially enjoyed learning about the Torres Strait Islanders.
